Your wedding day should be as stress free as possible.

On your big day, beyond just capturing memories and creating beautiful images, I am a resource and a right hand helper for you. I am there to make sure your day is as stress free and calm as possible. Need someone to pick up some last minute supplies on their way - I'm your guy. Running behind on the schedule? Let me coordinate with your other venders and make the necessary adjustments to get things back on track.

My calm, laid back demeanor, mixed with years of experience in the wedding industry, combine to create an energy that will keep you calm, centered, and focused on one another during your wedding day.

The way it should be.

Focusing on the little details, the moments between the moments.

So you can relax, and focus on each other, and your love story.

Okay, so how does this work?

01.

You fill out the form

When you're ready to take the next step, fill out the inquiry form on the Contact Page. Include as much detail as possible, the more I can understand what you're looking off the bat, the better. Once you've submitted that form, I will be in touch with you within 2 business days to talk next steps, solidify a date, and get you booked.

02.

We connect

Before the day of our session, we will have at least one phone call, Facetime or Zoom meeting. For some clients, all we need is a quick introductory call to break the ice and decide on final details. For some clients, we will be in touch multiple times before your booking for more in depth planning (elopements, weddings, etc).

03.

On shoot day

On the day of the shoot, we will meet at a location we've agreed on. When we first arrive, we will chat and get you comfortable. Once we've warmed up a bit, we will decide on the first spot and get to work. My approach to a photo session is very relaxed. I lean more toward the documentarian side of photography, and like to capture moments organically. I will prompt you, but will rarely pose you (only when necessary). This creates a natural, candid look to my photographs that my clients love.

04.

Receiving your images

Once we've finished up your session, I will get to work on editing your images! Depending on the time of year, editing can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks. During the slower season (winter into early spring), it will be less time, and during the wedding season (late spring through fall) it will lean more toward the 6-8 week mark. Rest assured, I try to get your images done as soon as possible, because I'm just as excited about them as you are! Images are generally delivered in an online gallery through my website with high resolution downloads available and a professional quality print store attached to make it easy as pie to print your favorites.

FAQ

I've never had my photos professionally taken... I'm nervous or uncomfortable in front of the camera.

Don't worry! We ALL are! I feel the same way when someone points a camera at me (and it happens more than I'd like to admit). It's my job as your photographer to make you feel comfortable and calm while I do my thing.

I don't know what to wear!

No problem, I can help you with that. Wear outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable, and consider the location and purpose of the photoshoot. Avoid busy patterns or logos that might distract from you. I am happy to help with outfit selections!

How many images will I receive from my shoot?

This depends on what kind of shoot you book. I try to provide as many images as I possibly can to my clients, but I also want to make sure I only provide the highest quality shots of the day. In general, I try to deliver around 100 shots per hour that I'm shooting, but this is a very loose guideline, as sometimes there are chunks of time during the day where we are not shooting.

Are you available outside of Oregon?

YES! I frequently do shoots in Seattle and am generally available throughout the PNW - but I also LOVE to travel, and will follow you anywhere for your big day. When we talk about your shoot initially, I will provide a quote to you that includes travel, so that you don't need to worry about logistics for me.

Do you only do weddings/elopements?

Nope, though this is where I lean most heavily, it is not all I do. I have a background in maternity photography and family photography, and I have a studio readily available where we can do just about anything, including fashion and editorial.

Can you recommend locations or vendors?

Yes!! I have locations that I love to shoot at, and vendors I have worked with that I can vouch for, and I would love to share any of these resources with you as we work toward planning your big day!
